Why bother

Athletes ask assistants now

Season planning is moving from search engines to AI assistants — and assistants can only recommend what they can read. Most camp websites are invisible to them.

Enquiries, not clicks

You are not buying traffic. You receive a named athlete who picked one of your departures at your published price, with their level and a real question.

Nothing to install

No plugin, no dashboard, no calendar sync. Email an editor when dates or prices change; the listing records when it was last confirmed with you.

What we list, and what we do not

This is a specialist catalogue. Its value to athletes — and therefore to you — comes from what it turns away.

Accepted Yes

  • Triathlon, swimming and open water camps
  • Cycling, gravel and mountain biking camps
  • Running and trail running camps
  • Altitude and base-building blocks
  • CrossFit, Hyrox and functional fitness camps
  • Training retreats built around a coached programme

Not accepted No

  • Wellness and yoga retreats
  • Detox, mindfulness and general wellbeing weeks
  • Adventure holidays without a coached programme
  • Anything where the training is incidental

If you run a retreat centre that hosts both, you are welcome — list the training camps. Every listing has to be tagged as endurance or fitness racing, and the software rejects anything untagged, so a wellness week cannot reach the catalogue by accident.

How it works

  1. Email us the camp

Dates, prices, level, weekly training volume, what is included, and a link to your own page. Whatever you already send to athletes who ask is enough to start.

  2. An editor checks it with you

We confirm the details directly with you rather than copying your website. The listing records who verified it and when, and athletes see that date.

  3. Your camp becomes readable by assistants

It enters the catalogue that AI assistants query when an athlete is planning a season, and the product feeds that agentic shopping platforms read.

  4. Enquiries arrive by email

Each one carries the athlete's name and contact address, the edition they chose with its dates and your published price, and their level. You reply to them directly — we are not in the booking.

What a qualified lead means

We bring you athletes who chose your camp at your published price. You only pay when we deliver one, and a delivered lead always carries all three of these:

They chose it with your published price in front of them, so there is no budget to negotiate and no date to find. Anything less than all three is never delivered to you and never billed — the athlete is asked for what is missing instead.

The customer is yours from the first reply: the athlete's address is on the email, you answer them directly, and we are not in the conversation after that.

What people say

Reviews land here after camps wrap, not before. The first operators are being onboarded now — write to us if you want a reference from one of them.

[email protected]

An acquisition channel, not your marketing

Your marketing stays yours. We are the channel that reaches people it does not.

Your social accounts, your reputation, your returning athletes, your community — none of that is ours to touch, and none of it is what you are paying for. We do not post on your behalf, run campaigns for you, or ask for anything in exchange for a listing.

What we do is reach athletes who are deciding where to train and have never heard of you: someone asking an AI assistant where to do a winter block, or reading a catalogue they trust to be current. They arrive having chosen your camp, on your dates, at your published price.

That is why the fee is per delivered lead rather than per month. A channel that charges whether or not it works is not a channel; it is an advertisement.

Questions

How do I list my training camp on JustTrainingCamps?

Send the camp's details to [email protected]: dates, prices, level, weekly training volume, what is included, and a link to your own page. An editor checks the details with you directly, then writes the listing. Listing is free and there is no application form.

Once the listing is verified it becomes readable by AI assistants, which send athletes' enquiries to you by email.

What does it cost to list a training camp or retreat?

Listing on JustTrainingCamps is free. We charge a fixed fee for each qualified lead we deliver, agreed in writing before anything is sent. A delivered lead always carries all three items on the checklist above; anything less never reaches you and is never billed.

What kinds of camps and retreats are accepted?

Endurance camps — triathlon, running, trail running, cycling, swimming — and fitness racing camps such as CrossFit and Hyrox. Wellness, yoga and general-purpose retreats are not accepted, even from operators who also run training camps: every listing must be tagged as endurance or fitness racing, and anything untagged is rejected automatically.

I run a retreat centre that also hosts training camps. Can I list?

Yes, but only the training camps themselves. A retreat centre that hosts a triathlon camp can list that camp; its wellness or yoga weeks cannot be listed alongside it. Athletes trust the catalogue because everything in it is training, and that boundary is enforced in the software, not by editorial goodwill.

How do AI assistants use my listing?

The JustTrainingCamps catalogue is published as a Model Context Protocol server and as an ACP and UCP product feed. An assistant helping an athlete plan a season queries it directly for camps matching their sport, dates, level and budget, and quotes your dates and prices back to the athlete along with the date they were last verified with you.

Which countries does JustTrainingCamps cover?

Portugal. The catalogue is curated by hand, so it grows where the editors can verify camps with operators directly rather than by covering everywhere thinly.

Do I have to give you exclusivity or change how I take bookings?

No. JustTrainingCamps does not take bookings or payments and is not the merchant of record. Athletes book with you, on your own booking page, on your own terms. You can list the same camp anywhere else at the same time.
